appears to be that you have already analyzed the clip for stabilization. The "convert entire clip" button only appears if you try to adjust the speed where you have NOT yet analyzed the clip. If you do not see the "convert entire clip" button, you do not need to do the conversion.įor an example of this, look between 3:12/7:09 and 3:34/7:09 of this YT video: You "should" see a tab that says "convert entire clip" Why can't I find the tab in the inspector that says "convert entire clip"? I see that tab in all the YouTube vids I watch re: iMovie 09. Instead I see a box that I can check which says "smooth clip motion".

I do not have that tab which I see that everyone else seems to have. I should see a tab that says "convert entire clip"! I then click on the little motor wheel at the left of the clip and click on "clip adjustment" which opens the inspector.

(4) If nothing else suggested resolves your problem, you may need to backup your Mac and then zero your disk and do a clean install of everything. However, zeroing and reinstalling requires a LOT of time and effort, so I recommend the easier things first.Īfter I have imported clips from the event library to the project library: I then choose a clip in the project library.

Then test to see if the Combo Update helps the problem. IMMEDIATELY again after the restart that finishes the installation. If your info is correct, unless you have compelling reasons for doing otherwise, you should use Disk Utility to repair permissions.

Mac OS X (10.5.4). The latest version of Leopard offers many improvements and fixes since 10.5.4. (3) I note that your system info shows that you are still using If you installed iMovie from a separate iLife '09 purchase, follow its reinstallation instructions.Īfter reinstalling, be sure to use your Mac's 

IGLASSES SHOP MANUAL

I did not see which Mac you use, but if your Mac came with iLife '09, follow the instructions in the User Guide manual that came with your Mac or this Apple article:

What I DO recommend is what I posted earlier. The iGlasses developer can tell you if there is something you need to do to correct the way his software works with your system. If the Technical Support help tells you to trash your iMovie app folder, you should do it. Otherwise, if you can find no help from a thorough search of their site, contactĮcamm with your problem and await and follow their suggestions.Įcamm cannot help you got things working, and if uninstalling iGlasses per the directions thatĮcamm provides does not correct the problem, you may want to try reinstalling iLife '09, or at least its iMovie. I see that you have already tried to reinstall iMovie, but you can check to be certain that you have carefully followed Apple's instructions for reinstalling applications. (1) If you are trying to direct your question to me, I would NOT trash iMovie UNLESS the iGlasses technical support, a trusted Mac expert, or Apple's instructions tell you to do so.Īlthough I doubt that trashing the app will make anything worse, I also doubt that it can help your problem. Merely trashing the iMovie app folder only removes some of the files iMovie uses there are many associated files installed in other locations by the iLife installer. Would you advise (or not) that I go to my application folder and send iMovie (256.4 MB) to trash.and then do a re install of iLife 09? LED Cinema Display G4 PowerBook 1.67GHz (10.4.11) iBookSE 366MHz (10.3.9) External iSight I could not find any mention of the problem you have in the iGlasses FAQs and compatibility pages.Įcamm has a good Product Support reputation. For iGlasses specific questions like yours, I suggest you check the info on this page and contact the Developer's Technical Support if you cannot otherwise resolve your difficulty: I uninstalled iGlasses but that does not seem to have mattered. If I make any change to the speed of a selected clip I am in trouble.

Once I adjust the speed (and click done) the clip disappears from the viewing window (except the sound) and I can no longer select the clip in the library to do anything further with it. If I am editing in the event library I can select and change anything except the speed or direction of the clip.

I re-installed iLife and this did not fix the problem which is:
